There are many types of offers, there's the terrible ones, the ones you don't even consider, the good ones, the ones that make you more inclined to to take, and there's the irresistible ones, these are the ones that give you no choice but to accept as they are just too good, like this offer here.
Your old car is a wreck, the paint is peeling off, the windshield is cracked, and the seats are stained. “I’ll get it serviced soon,” you keep telling yourself, but you keep putting it off.
Then your friend shows up and offers to take it to the service center.
You’re glad you don’t have to spend a day fixing that bucket of bolts.
It gets better. He is friends with the garage owner, so he gets a 50 percent discount.
You’re elated.
It doesn’t stop there. Your friend says he’ll change the tire and fill up the gas.
You’re over the moon. You just got an offer you can’t turn down.
We can’t all have friends like that, but we can learn how to make irresistible offers like your friend did.
How to create an irresistible offer
As I've shown above, it is an offer that can't be refused (the no brainer), but this differs between different groups of people, that's why it's crucial to find your target audience, then you can start to see what makes them bite, and structure your offer to do just that.
One thing you must forget is that it's the product that sells, as this is a common misunderstanding in advertising and can lead you into spending time and money on the wrong things.
You need to understand one thing, humans are driven by emotion not facts, so you just need to be able to hit the right emotions by saying the right things, and i'm going to give you 3 ways to do this
1. Scarcity
2. FOMO
3. making their life easier
Scarcity is giving the perception that what you are selling is special and limited, if they dont buy now they might never be able to. It also shows your product is popular and is selling fast, and there's nothing more people love than following trends, you will see this in almost all big scale advertising, like showing you how much stock is left or how many rooms are left in a hotel.
FOMO
(Fear of missing out) works well in marketing, it's that feeling people get when they feel they might miss out on something, which allows you to gain a sale, this works best when you use urgency.
The best offers solve a problem or make life easier for your customers. When you can show them how your product or service will make their life simpler, less stressful, or more enjoyable, you’ll be speaking to their core desires.
It’s not enough to just say your product is great, you need to paint a picture. Help them visualize how their life will improve after they make the purchase. Will it save them time? Reduce their workload? Bring them joy? The key is to make them see the transformation your product will create.
Now that you understand the three powerful elements of an irresistible offer, scarcity, FOMO, and making life easier it’s time to apply them to your own business. By aligning your offers with what your target audience values most, you can create deals that are truly impossible to refuse.
